Historic Event?

So 60-some million Americans have gotten drunk on Obama Kool-Aid, and here we are with the single most radical President-elect in our great nation's history. Now, the media is telling us how historic this event is... how the election of our first African-American to the presidency will finally put to rest many deep-rooted racial divides. Hmmmm:

* "The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing ‘God Bless America.’ No, no, no, God damn America, that’s in the Bible for killing innocent people. God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme.” (Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Obama's pastor of 20 years, 2003).

* Well over 95% of African-American voters voted for Obama... would these votes be based on matters of policy and character or the color of the candidate's skin? Does the African-American community support partial birth abortion? The answer is no (Obama does). Does the African-American community support gay marriage? The answer is no (Obama does). Does the African-American community support the US's defeat in Iraq? The answer is no (Obama does). These are just three examples, but there are many more. The bottom line here is that the African-American community, who has been spit upon and stomped upon by the very political party claiming to be there for them, has looked to skin color (within this party) to be their social salvation.

* Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, a great man and visionary, looked at our future as a nation with great hope and envisioning change (two key buzz-words for Obama-believers as well). Dr. King however spoke not of a black man becoming president as the "mountain top," but instead he urged us all to judge people by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin. How interesting that this Obama election has been revered by countless millions as "historic." Why would this election be considered "historic" at all if we are heading Dr. King's urging? It truly does amaze me that so many people only see skin color. Sure, Mr. Obama gives a great speech and his campaign discipline should be commended, but for 60+ million Americans (including the extreme majority in the African-American community) to look past so many facts and complete lack of experience and reduce this man down to his skin color is a shame.

If anyone asks me, the true historical impact of this election is that we have just elected our first true Marxist to the White House! If folks cannot help but group people, let's at least say that President-elect Obama is our first African-American Marxist elected... hey, there's a first time for everything I guess?!

This fellow, Barack Hussein Obama, can give quite a speech!
Though he has nothing to say, he's trying to teach.

Teach us what you may inquire?
About how wealth is bad to aquire.

His name used to be "Barry" until "Barack" gave him his street cred,
We can all now see he is nothing more than a politcal re-tread (Jimmy Carter anyone?).

His wife is surely an angry _ _ _ _ _,
They obviously are trying to give us the bait and switch.

All the hype with many dangerous radicals behind it,
We still live in America and you know Barry don't fit!

A conservative McCain is not,
But at least his experience is more than a tiny dot (Obama= 143 days in the Senate before running for President... are you kidding me?).

The simple folk here just clinging to our guns and our God,
The alarms should be going off people- Obama is a fraud!!!

Honestly people, wake up!

I am Jeremy Nichols for those of you who do not know me. I have never been one to abstain from having an opinion... on just about anything under the sun (or beyond it). However, I also was one who never thought that I would take any valuable moments out of any day or night to write down my thoughts or "feelings" on a blog! Nobody will have to endure any "feelings" coming through any of my up-coming posts, but my thoughts will be many. Look, the bottom line here is that while I may never be considered a guru of any sort, most of y'all need some sort of wake-up call in regard to various segments of life. Religion, philosophy, education, politics, athletics, history, economics... these all are vital areas of thought and action.

People consider me a realist, a cynic, a truth-seeker, and an anything-but-abstract thinker. I tend to see things and people for who they really are or what they represent. I believe that any reasonable and thinking person should be extremely judgmental of those they come across. For if we do not judge the world around us, a God-given ability is being squandered and we become subject to useless feelings instead of honest discernment. Anyway, like I said, I never thought I'd have a stupid little blog... but here it is.
